    Notes:

    NATO sponsored a symposium on the aging pilot that focused on the 20-40 year old pilot. This of course interesting to NATO because this is the age range of military pilots. Previous research had focused on subjects in their 70's and older, and thus confounded senescence with aging.

    But falling apart from old age happens only at the end of life, and we are very interested, as pilots or as passengers, what changes occur with aging of younger pilots.
