In a couple of nice spots, the bike trail plunges into the shady woods along the bluffs. The model is included for scale.

And sometimes the paved trail seems to split, but the unpaved trail is, we think, "unauthorized." Yes, it was cold enough for a jacket, and this was just the beginning.
